How do you prevent image loss?

I always carry backup equipment and shoot on two memory cards simultaneously so that if one goes corrupt, I can have the second one. When I get home, I back up your photos on 2 separate hard drives and keep the memory cards unformatted, so your photos are reliably stored in 4 places.

Do you offer albums?

Yes, and they are from one of the highest quality album companies. I design them with you through a program that makes revisions and approvals seamless. All galleries also offer prints for purchase for you and your guests.

Can you show me a full wedding gallery?

Yes! People fall in love with full galleries - email me and I will send you one. They're a great way to see how I would approach different parts of the day and different pace of events.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes and your venue can reach out for me to send a COI to them.

Do you have a backup plan in case of emergency?

The contract covers us in this case - I will inform you in writing as soon as I know I cannot be there. This will only happen in case of serious injury, acts of God, or severe illness. I will hire one of my colleagues to shoot the day for me ASAP. And I will take care of the rest of the process.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

I like to add a few destination weddings a year to my calendar, so absolutely!

No - the collection price is final, no tax/travel/credit card processing fees etc on top.

Do you work with videographers? 

I am happy to work along side other professional videographers. I always recommend ensuring your videographer has a similar shooting style and approach as I do, since that works best to ensure you get images that reflect what you want, and a wonderful wedding day experience. A video team with the same goal of remaining unobtrusive to your day is best.

Do you edit photos?

I color correct, crop, and straighten all delivered photos. I can also remove temporary blemishes if need be. I do not make people look different than who they are and will not alter a person's body in any way. I always pose with flattering bodies in mind.

Who is the second photographer?

I work with several fellow photographers whom I know well, I have worked with them before and I trust them to provide quality results. Their wedding experience and photography skills match mine. During the wedding, the second photographer will hand me their memory cards and I will select and edit their photos along with the whole gallery.

What if you haven’t shot at my venue before?

I always do a venue walkthrough to scout and see the spots, talk to the workers, and will ALWAYS arrive early to your wedding to walk around and see where the light is falling on the given day. Shooting at new places keeps my creative eye and energy interested, and I can shoot anywhere, whether I have been there before or not.
